Our lead team is made up of pastoral staff, a board of deacons, an office administrator and a custodian.
Mark Barrett
Lead Pastor
Pastor Mark and Kirsten have been in ministry for over 25 years. They joined New Life Assembly in July of 2017 and bring to our assembly a passion for the body of Christ to impact the community and are looking forward to seeing all that the Lord has for Sioux Lookout.

Steve Harder
Youth Pastor
Pastor Steve and Bobbie-Jo have been in ministry for over 20 years. They joined New Life Assembly in July of 2018 and bring with them a passion to see the lives of our youth transformed through a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sarah Crane
Children's Pastor
Pastor Sarah has served God her whole life, and heard the call of God to Pastor at the age of 16.
Pastor Sarah was married on August 8th 2020 to her husband Brandon. Her vision is for the children here at NLA to not only know Jesus, but to be in close relationship with Jesus even when times get tough. We are excited for what God will do in the children’s department here at NLA.

Elizabeth Seguin
Office Administrator
Elizabeth has been in Sioux Lookout at NLA for over 25 years. She is being 're-fired' after retiring from Health Canada as a nurse manager. In the fall of 2017 she joined the staff as office administrator and continues to be the SOZO lead. Her passion and purpose is to see people & communities walk in freedom and wholeness.

Kevin Usher
Custodian
Kevin has been involved in church ministry for most of his life. He has participated with church worship teams as well as touring Ontario with various Christian ministries, such as Teen Challenge and Jesus And Me Ministries. He was born in London, Ontario and remained in London until taking the leap of faith, in 2019, to move north to Sioux Lookout. Kevin and his family are involved in service here at NLA.

Edith Baas
Edith and her husband Dan have been NLA church members for approximately 30 years. She was in the field of nursing and the justice system. She has since retired from the justice system and now works on a per diem basis. She is a mother and a grandmother. She looks forward to serving as a deacon in the coming months to sit, help, and promote the calling Christ has for us to do and that is to spread the good news. Her interest is in prayer/intercession, discipleship, supporting and encouraging the needy.

Ernie Seguin
Ernie grew up in Northern Ontario on a farm and loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is now retired after working in the mining industry for 22 years, forestry for 20 years and 10 years with a local contractor.
Ernie started attending NLA in 1994 and served in children's ministry for a long time. Currently he is involved in ushering where He loves to welcome people while serving them and Jesus.
Constance Sithole
Constance was born and raised in a Catholic home. When she was a teenager God had other plans for her as she joined a Pentecostal church in Zimbabwe where she would spend her time within the intercessory prayer ministry.
Her passion is to live to testify the Wonder working power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus's saving power to use her to draw others to Jesus.
